What happens at your first visit?
- Start with a conversation. Tell us about your concerns, previous dental care, medical conditions and medicines.
- Understand your oral health. We examine your teeth, gums, bite and soft tissues, and take X-rays when needed. Your check-up and clean also includes advice for caring for your teeth at home.
- Plan the next step together. We explain the findings and your options. If further treatment is recommended, we discuss the plan and costs before proceeding.
Nervous, or has it been a while?
You are welcome to start with a check-up. Let our reception team know what worries you when you call, and bring any questions you would like to ask. Your first visit is a chance to understand where things stand and talk through your options.
For children who need a little encouragement, ask about Toffee, our therapy dog, and the appointments when he is available.
Everyday care, at every age
Alongside check-ups and cleans, we provide tooth-coloured fillings, gum care and preventive advice. We also look after children's dental health and help older adults care for their teeth and dentures. If you have pain or a broken tooth, call about an emergency appointment.
Your next check-up is based on your individual needs. Some people benefit from six-monthly visits; others need a different interval. We will recommend a suitable schedule after assessing your oral health.
Meet the people caring for you
Principal dentists Dr James Lee and Dr Harold Lee work alongside Dr Dayana Gonzalez and Dr Wei-Hun Tjio. Our oral health therapist Shirani Marks and hygienist Liz Fetherstonhaugh also provide preventive and gum care.

How much is a new-patient check-up and clean?
Our new-patient offer is $250 for one comprehensive examination, one scale and clean, and any X-rays clinically required at that visit. It is available once per person. Further treatment is quoted separately. See our offer details and terms.

We accept all major Australian health funds and claim available rebates at the practice. Your rebate depends on your extras policy and remaining limits. For the new-patient offer, the $250 total still applies and any rebate reduces what you pay.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Bring your health fund card if you have one, a current list of medicines and any questions about your teeth or previous treatment. Let us know about relevant medical conditions and allergies.
Do you have evening or Saturday appointments?
We are open until 8 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and from 8:30 am to midday on Saturdays. Call the practice to check appointment availability. Free on-site parking is available at 155 Park Road, Cheltenham.
