Overdentures
An implant overdenture is a removable denture that attaches to implants for improved comfort, stability, and chewing strength. It’s a secure and affordable upgrade from traditional dentures.
An implant overdenture is a modern solution for patients who want a more stable and comfortable alternative to full dentures. Instead of resting loosely on the gums, the overdenture attaches to two or more implants placed in the jaw. These implants act as anchors, helping the denture stay firmly in position while allowing easy removal for cleaning and maintenance.
The treatment begins with a detailed assessment and 3D digital scan to plan the ideal implant positions. Using guided surgery, the implants are placed with precision and minimal discomfort. Once healed, a custom-made overdenture is fabricated to clip securely onto the implants, greatly improving stability and chewing function compared to conventional dentures.
This option is also more affordable than full-arch treatments such as All-on-4, while still providing excellent function and comfort. The implants we use are all reputable, TGA-approved systems that meet the highest safety and quality standards.
At Park Road Dental, Dr James Lee and Dr Harold Lee plan and perform these treatments carefully to ensure a predictable and comfortable result, helping patients eat, speak, and smile with renewed confidence.
