Technology

At Park Road Dental, we invest heavily in the latest dental technology to ensure every treatment is delivered with the highest level of precision, efficiency, and comfort for our patients.

3D Intraoral Scanning

The Shining 3D Elite intraoral scanner is one of the most advanced digital scanners in modern dentistry. It captures ultra-high-resolution 3D images of your teeth and gums in real time, providing unmatched accuracy and detail. The scanning process is quick, comfortable, and completely mess-free, eliminating the need for traditional impression materials. This precise digital data allows for better-fitting crowns, aligners, and restorations with minimal adjustments.

CAD/CAM

We use advanced CAD/CAM technology — short for Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Manufacturing — to design and create custom dental restorations with extreme precision. Our CEREC system, engineered in Germany, allows us to digitally design and mill crowns, bridges, and ceramic restorations right here in the clinic, often within a single visit. This eliminates the need for temporary crowns or multiple appointments while ensuring a highly accurate and beautifully natural fit. The result is a faster, more comfortable experience with restorations made to exact specifications on the same day.

Digital Smile Design

Digital Smile Design allows us to plan and visualise your new smile with precision before any treatment begins. Using high-resolution photos, 3D scans and digital design software, we can simulate how your teeth, gums and lips will look after treatment — helping you see the results in advance and take part in the design process. This technology ensures that cosmetic treatments such as veneers, crowns or aligners are not only functional but also perfectly balanced and personalised to your face. It’s a modern, collaborative approach that brings confidence and accuracy to every smile makeover.

3D Printing

We use the Australian-made Asiga 3D printer, renowned as one of the most precise and reliable dental printers in the world. This cutting-edge technology allows us to print dental models, appliances, surgical guides, and trays with incredible accuracy and detail. The process uses advanced resin-based printing to produce smooth, dimensionally stable results — ensuring an exceptional fit and finish. By fabricating these components in-house, we can achieve faster turnaround times and maintain full control over quality at every step.

CBCT

Our in-house Vatech CBCT system captures detailed 3D images of the teeth, bone, and jaw with exceptional clarity and accuracy. Unlike most dental practices where patients are referred to external X-ray clinics, all scans are performed on-site, saving time and ensuring seamless treatment planning. CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) provides ultra-high-resolution images with a low radiation dose, ideal for implants, surgery, and complex diagnostics. Having this technology in-house means faster, safer and more precise care — without the need to go elsewhere.
