Our New CBCT Machine Has Arrived at Park Road Dental!

After months of planning, permits, and construction, we’re excited to announce that our brand-new CBCT (Cone Beam CT) imaging unit has officially been installed at Park Road Dental.
We didn’t take shortcuts on quality — we invested in the Vatech Green X, the flagship model from Vatech. It delivers the highest-resolution CBCT scans currently available, and also includes panoramic (OPG) and lateral cephalometric (ceph) imaging — all in one unit.
Why this matters for our patients
This advanced 3D imaging technology allows us to capture full-face, high-definition scans that show not just your teeth, but also the surrounding bone, sinuses, jaw joints, and airways.It’s particularly valuable for:
Wisdom teeth assessment – to clearly see root positions and nerve pathways before surgery.
Dental implant planning – CBCT provides precise 3D views that let us plan implant placement with accuracy and safety.
Digital workflow integration – When paired with our Shining 3D intraoral scanner, we can virtually plan your implants and fabricate in-house 3D printed surgical guides, ensuring implants are placed exactly where they should be.
For orthodontic patients
Our new unit also takes lateral cephalometric (side-view) X-rays, an essential part of orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning. These images help us analyse jaw growth, tooth position, and facial profile to design customised orthodontic treatments.
